According to the China Seismological Network, at 19:24 on the 4th, a magnitude 4.3 earthquake occurred in Enping City, Jiangmen City, with a focal depth of 8 kilometers and an epicenter located at 22.08 degrees north latitude and 112.25 degrees east longitude.

The epicenter was located near Dahuai Town, Enping City, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, 3 kilometers from the Dahuai Town Government of Enping City, Jiangmen City, 13 kilometers from the urban area of ​​Enping City, Jiangmen City, 37 kilometers from the urban area of ​​Yangjiang City, and 156 kilometers from Guangzhou City. As of 20:00 on the 4th, a total of 5 aftershocks had occurred.

This earthquake caused strong earthquakes and felt them over a wide area. Affected by the earthquake, the “Guangzhou South Railway Station” announced that the Shenzhen-Zhanshan Railway from Kaiping South to Yangjiang Station was temporarily blocked, and speed restrictions were imposed between Yangjiang Station and Yangxi Station. Passenger trains on the Shenzhen-Zhanjiang Railway will be delayed to varying degrees.
