Magnet fishing is officially prohibited in the municipality of Oisterwijk. This is stated in the general local regulation. “The municipality of Oisterwijk has investigated areas where conventional explosives may be found in the ground. The report has shown that in a number of areas the chance of the presence of non-detonated conventional explosives is very high ”, can be read in the municipal regulations. Fishermen can be fined for violation.
