In a nice, warm atmosphere, in a variety of emotions and rhythms, a concert was held in the “Mītava” concert hall with songs and dances with wonderful dancers Vanessa Rufino from Brazil, Angel Zaldivar from Cuba and the charming dance partner of Maria, dancer Agni Ruja.
Together with the jubilee, there was a wonderful team of musicians and guests from various countries gifted with the warmth of the sun – France, Brazil, Chile, etc. In the concert program, songs known to the public and not heard for a long time were in an unusual sound, which was taken care of by the fantastic musician, guitar virtuoso, composer from Paris – Sebastien Giniaux in tandem with Joris Visquesnel.
Percussionists Miguel H. Giraldi from Chile, Rodrigo Manfrinatti from Brazil and singer Marianne Nombre from Brazil were on stage with Marija, as well as Latvian musicians with whom Marija has a long and long collaboration – Rolands Beļēvičs on piano, Andris Buiķis on drums, Norberts Skraucis on bass, guitarist Yegors Kovaikovs, Artūrs Noviks with bandeion, saxophonist Zintis Žvarts, trumpeter Normunds Piesis, trombonist Uldis Ziediņš and singer Līga Robežniece.
