“Weekend” journalists noted that the Armenian drives his bodyguard everywhere. The two also move together at parties and cultural events, even at the theater and at concerts. The petty producer has recently been spotted more often with his bodyguards than with his wife Kremena Halvadzhiyan. The guard he’d hired was at least a head and a half taller than Maggie, and her looks were the epitome of the profession: she was literally enormous.
At the same time, however, he doesn’t seem like someone to be afraid of: he appears to be easy-going and good-natured. He is said to be the producer’s bodyguard and has no commitments to anyone else in the family. His wife, son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren did not use the security. “Weekend” journalists recently noticed the Armenian and guarding him together at a cultural event in one of Sofia’s popular halls. Halvajian arrived without his wife, Kremena, with only his bodyguard, who didn’t seem interested in what was happening on stage. Obviously he had come for business, not personal interests. What is Maggie Halvajian afraid of to move with confidence? So far, the producer hasn’t complained of receiving threats, but it’s understandable if there are fears that he could be attacked, robbed or kidnapped for ransom.
In the recent past in Bulgaria, there have been enough cases of kidnappings to scare people with possibilities and make them seek protection. Being a popular person, it stands to reason that the producer fears being attacked, especially if he walks the streets late at night. The guard, in addition to guarding his boss, also performs the functions of his chauffeur. However, the Armenian went abroad without a guard. There he was calm, that he was not known and hardly anyone would disturb him, and he chose controlled places where it was unlikely that he would be attacked and robbed. At the expense of this, however, he is more often with his wife and most of the family, writes “Weekend”.
