Magdalena Dzhanavarova won the Music Idol title last night at the final concert.
The 21-year-old Maggie remained in a contested duel in the final with the Macedonian Bojan. After the draw, the two sang Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now and the audience judged that the girl did better. Thus, she collected 59.7% of the audience’s votes. Maggie narrowly missed out on being a finalist after crashing out during the small gigs – but then she got a second chance, right on her birthday, March 25. The first to drop out at the final concert last night was Rusina. She had to leave the show after the four idols sang their favorite songs from the format in the first round. In the second round, the remaining three already performed one song each in a non-standard arrangement, immediately after which Preslava also dropped out.
