The contracts are written over the next three seasons through 2026.
– I got a good feeling right away. Bayern Munich is an extraordinary club with an impressive history. The potential is enormous. All my teammates from the Swedish national team have enjoyed themselves here, says Magdalena Eriksson.
Nine titles in six seasons
During her six seasons at Chelsea, Magdalena Eriksson from Stockholm has won five league titles and four FA Cup titles.
Magdalena Eriksson and Pernille Harder played together in Linköping, but the Dane played three seasons in Wolfsburg before the three seasons in Chelsea.
– It is a big day for Bayern Munich, because we managed to get two players of this caliber here. They are outstanding personalities, not only on the field but also off it. This means a lot to us and our goals. Both players bring a lot of top quality. They have played at a very high level and collected titles for many years. In this young team with their development, they will be an important building block, says Bianca Rech, head of Bayern Munich’s women’s team.
Pernille Harder was voted for the footballer of the year in Europe in 2018 and 2020.
