After returning from a difficult trip through Europe, the Dvořák brothers and Matej immediately expresses his wish to meet with the director during the break. Later during the meeting with Soňa, an unusually serious Jirka Hložánek calls Magda and asks to meet after work. He arrives directly at her house, as he has something on his mind that he would not like to deal with at school or at the town hall. He wishes her an additional birthday and she in return gives him a box of chocolates to go with his. Then the pleasant atmosphere takes over and unpleasant matters come to the fore.
Jirka tells everything about Sona’s complaint filed with the school office, and Magda can’t help but be surprised. She believed that Soňa had calmed down after the affair with the photo, that things were good between them again, she even praised her for her help with the deadline and added a financial bonus to her salary. That insidious monster must have already written a letter of complaint at that time. Jirka adds that the complaint was actually very vague and confused, but points out to Magda that the representative was persuasive and fierce.
