In the last few episodes, it is increasingly clear that Henk and Chantal may not fit together as well as science has told the experts. Chantal wants an almost hairless man, which is Henk. But she still wants a ‘real man-man’, which Henk is not. So difficult. On their honeymoon in Antalya, the differences between the two come to the fore more and more. “We are done talking,” Henk admits several times. “There is no sexual click,” Chantal confesses. While she understands why she is matched with Henk. “There are certainly common ground, but the last bit is missing.”
Now the dark clouds seem to be gathering more and more above the heads of Henk and Chantal. The two have to go into the cohabitation phase after their honeymoon. They have a frank conversation about the experiment, in which Chantal is incredibly clear. “I prefer to break my neck so that I can go home from Schiphol directly,” she says inexorably. Then Henk says what he thinks. “We are not going to make it, Chantal.” The blonde agrees.

And then Chantal makes a shocking revelation. “I should have just said no,” she confesses. “My daughter pulled me into the wedding room. I already knew.” Chantal is referring to the fact that Henk is not a ‘man-man’. “I really like big. And I know it’s not a marriage of wishes, but a scientific marriage. But you still have a preference,” she explains.
Then Henk asks what we all ask ourselves. “But if you wanted to say no, did you give it a fair chance?” His wife has a clear answer for how long it will take. “I think you are pointing very much at me. I just said yes to give it a chance, so I think that’s unreasonable for you.” Then Henk is very resolute. “This marriage was doomed to fail. If you had said no, you would have been honest.”
After that, the conversation takes a slightly less friendly turn. “I sleep well at home on Monday evening,” says Henk. “Thank goodness, yes,” Chantal responds.
