Mafia remake has been postponed to September 25 – Gaming – News

Mafia: Definitive Edition is delayed by a month. The game is scheduled to release on August 28, but will be rescheduled for September 25. According to the developers, the postponement is due to the corona crisis. On July 22, the creators will show the game’s gameplay.

The team is unable to complete everything in time to meet the aforementioned release date, reports the Mafia account on Twitter. The developers blame the ongoing corona pandemic. The Mafia remake was announced in May. The game not only gets graphical improvements, but also new content and new gameplay possibilities. The original was released in 2002.

Developer Hangar 13 and publisher 2K Games have already released a short trailer, but more gameplay will be revealed from Mafia: Definitive Edition on July 22. The makers then promise to give an extensive look at the game.

2K Games has also re-released Mafia II and III. That already happened at the announcement of the Mafia remake in May. Mafia II has been graphically refreshed and released for the first time on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It is a remaster and not a remake. Mafia III was already available on the consoles, but the new version is bundled with all dlc.
