Mafia 4 is to follow the story of Don Salieri’s family at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries

It’s not been two weeks since the current director Haden Blackman left the Hangar 13 studio. Shortly afterwards, Kotaku magazine came with informationthat the team has to work on the new Mafia, specifically the prequel, which is said to be in the early stages of development and is being created on Unreal Engine 5. But in the end, that’s not all. Well-known insider Shpeshal Nick is on his in Saturday the XboxEra podcast he shared other details he heard.

He confirms that Mafia 4 should be a prequelbut also specified the plan. The title should take place in Sicily at the end of the 19th or the beginning of the 20th century. The story is to revolve around Don Salieri’s family, which we all know well from the first part. He adds that the design should be more linear than the third part.

However, there is not just one game in Hangar 13. Speshal Nick goes on to say that Czech branches are to be worked on on the new Top Spin. The series of tennis games, which has been on the ice for a very long time, the fourth and so far last part was published in 2011. In a way, the new information would make sense, as four was created in 2K Czech, formerly Illusion Softworks and today’s Brno branch of Hangar 13. The new Top Spin is said to be introduced next year.

And finally outside Hangar 13, but to tennis games. EA reportedly plans to return the Grand Slam series.
