The semi-final of Maestro
How important a conductor is and how complex this role is becomes mercilessly clear in Maestro: some masterpieces emerge unrecognizable and battered from the battle with an inexperienced candidate as leader of the orchestra. But the combination of newly discovered talent and a lot of practice creates something magical on stage.
The battle for the Golden Baton has been going on since December 3 and 4 candidates have already had to say goodbye to the Maestro Orchestra and their place on the box. Actress Tjitske Reidinga, musician Frédérique Spigt and presenter & actor Chris Zegers are the three candidates who reached the semi-finals of the AVROTROS program Maestro.
The semi-final of Maestro can be seen on Sunday evening, January 14 at 8:25 PM on AVROTROS on NPO 1.
