Persikabo 1973 suffered a 0-3 defeat to Madura United in coach Aji Santoso’s debut match in Week 9 of League 1 at the Wibawa Mukti Stadium, Cikarang, Saturday (19/8) afternoon WIB.
Madura United, which is currently in a positive trend, appears dominant in this match. Laskar Sapeh Kerab who acted as the visiting team really made Persikabo only focus on defending.
However, Madura United was only able to break into Persikabo’s goal towards the end of the first half. Francisco Rivera scored a goal in the 41st minute.
Rivera’s shot from inside the penalty box managed to vibrate the host’s goal and made the score 1-0 last until the first half was over.
Persikabo, who wanted to get up, never managed to score an equalizing goal. Rivera is back to being a nightmare for Persikabo.
The player from Mexico shook Madura United’s goal in the 60th minute and changed the score to 2-0.
Persikabo was getting squeezed after Madura United scored their third goal in this match. The goal that made it 3-0 was scored by Malik Risaldi.
