The mayor of Puerto Madryn, Gustavo Sastre, met with local authorities from Banco del Chubut and representatives of taxi drivers, with the aim that the latter can access loans and special financing so that they can update their fleet.
Specifically, the idea that was discussed at the meeting is to set up a specific line for taxi drivers in the city, with the aim of generating greater predictability and a general renewal of vehicles.
The possibility of implementing two different lines was also discussed, in order to include, on the one hand, zero kilometer cars and another for used cars up to six years old.
“This is a great benefit for our neighbors who use this transport and it will also help us improve the image of the city in terms of tourism, since those who arrive in the city will have a fleet in optimal conditions”Tailor said.
