ADVICE
This place of exchange will go beyond the purely logistical, since it will be connected to the free regional Agroasesor service, launched two years ago that attends and resolves specialized queries to farmers and ranchers and supports them in modernizing and improving their farms. , promoting innovation in the economic and environmental aspects.
This local market is part of the Terra Plan that the regional government launched in 2020 to help the countryside and the agri-food industry. The program has already been executed in 80%, consists of 50 measures aimed at liberalizing the sector and has an endowment of 100 million euros. With it, it is intended to simplify the regulations, improve the competitiveness and marketing of local agricultural products and, at the same time, favor generational renewal and the implementation of more sustainable production systems.
AGRICULTURAL PARK
The choice of Fuenlabrada as the venue for this first Rural Madrid is due to the fact that, among the large cities of the Community, it is perhaps the one that maintains the greatest relationship with the countryside and with the agricultural world.
Proof of this is the Agrarian Park, a project that guarantees the continuity of this activity in the South of the region.
