Madrid in Silence: Children’s Workshop with Artist Kike Ibáñez to Improve the City through Art

In this activity, led by the artist Kike Ibáñez, author of the exhibition Madrid in silence, boys and girls will paint their favorite place in Madrid, from which they will eliminate what they don’t like and add what they do want for their city. A way of using artistic ability to claim the right to improve your environment. Because to make it come true you first have to imagine it.

To do this, they will freely work with the collage technique using colored papers and markers. At the end of the workshop, each attendee will exhibit their favorite corner of Madrid, creating a new city among all the art pieces.

This workshop accompanies the exhibition Madrid in silence present in the library during the month of January.

Activity aimed at girls and boys from 6 to 11 years old.
