The Governing Council of the Community of Madrid has authorized this week the acquisition of 1.6 million doses of flu vaccine for the 2023/2024 campaign with an investment of 18.9 million euros.

will be 850,000 vials of adjuvanted quadrivalent vaccines for people aged 65 or over and 750,000 doses for the rest of Madrid who are targeted by the campaign.
Target population
It will be aimed at people over 60 years of age, for the first time at children between 6 months and 5 years of age, and at people included in risk groups. The latter group includes chronically ill, pregnant women, health professionals, social health workers, caregivers and essential service personnel, among others.
