Chennai > Madras High Court disqualifies Theni MP OP Ravindranath. The action of the High Court is in the case of concealment of property information. OP Ravindranath is the son of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam. With this, AIADMK lost an MP in the state. Only Rabindranath won from AIADMK in the last election. Milani, a voter of Theni, has approached the Madras High Court alleging that various details including properties have been concealed in the nomination papers. In July 2022, AIADMK Interim General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami, along with his younger brother Jaya Pradeep, expelled OP Ravindranath from the primary membership of the party.
