Madonna congratulates her son Rocco on his 24th birthday with a sentimental message. She expresses her gratitude for their close bond.
The singer and mother of six Madonna (65) has congratulated her eldest son Rocco Ritchie (24) on his birthday with loving words. The son of her and director Guy Ritchie (55) turned 24 on Sunday (11 August). “I love you – forever and ever,” she promises the artist in her Instagram post.
“Thank you for voting for me again”
“Happy Birthday Rocco – the long and winding road through all your many moods and changes was stormy and full of surprises,” writes the Queen of Pop in her birthday greeting. Nevertheless, Rocco’s curiosity and art have always connected the two. “Thank God for art. Thank God for you,” she adds. “We have been together for many lifetimes. Thank you for choosing me again.”
She shared 20 pictures with her message. Her followers can watch Rocco grow up. The first photo shows the bond between her and her son: the singer gives him a warm hug while he kisses her on the top of her head. As the snapshots further show, Rocco found his passion as a child. The painter can be seen several times in front of a canvas with a brush in his hand. She also proudly shows two of his works of art in the post.
Madonna shares his love for art
It is not the first time that the “Like a Prayer” singer has publicly shown her support for the artist. In April she shared some pictures of herself and four of her other children at an exhibition by Rocco. She commented on the photo series that she was “so happy” to be able to enjoy his paintings on her free evening. “So proud!” she said, delighted with her son’s success. In addition to Rocco, she has a second biological child, daughter Lourdes Leon (27). Madonna is also the adoptive mother of son David Banda (18), daughter Mercy James (18) and twin sisters Stella and Estere (11).
