Madonna performs two concerts in Ziggo Dome due to great interest | Music

Madonna will also be in the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on Saturday 2 December. The singer announced a concert on December 1 earlier this week. The singer will go around the world later this year with her Greatest Hits tour The Celebration Tour.

Concert organizer MOJO speaks of a “rush” on the tickets for the concerts. Within a few minutes, almost 30,000 people were in the digital queue this morning. The great interest is striking, given that Madonna has received a lot of criticism in recent days about the high prices of her concerts. For a pitch close to the stage, 280 euros are requested. Normal pitches also cost a small 200 euros.

A few hours after the start of ticket sales, tickets are still available in most categories for both dates.

It is Madonna’s first concert in the Netherlands in eight years. The 64-year-old singer kicks off her 35-city tour in North America on July 15. Later the singer travels to Europe, for shows in London, Barcelona and Paris, among others. The shows in Amsterdam are the last of her tour.

The 64-year-old Madonna already released a compilation album in 2009 with the title Celebration from. Since then, several albums by the singer have been released, of which Madame X from 2019 was the last. The pop star is celebrating the 40th anniversary of her career this year. She broke through in 1983 with the single Holiday and the accompanying album Madonna.
