Reporter’s Report TribunJatim.com, Sofyan Arif Candra
TRIBUNJATIM.COM, MADIUN – Case Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in the district Madison starting to worry.
This is because the disease transmitted by the Aedes aegypti mosquito began to increase in December 2021 and has not shown a decline until January 2022.
Head of Disease Prevention and Control, Madiun District Health Office, Anis Jaka said the increase in dengue cases was triggered by high rainfall and the minimal PSN (Mosquito Nest Eradication) movement.
“This makes mosquitoes as transmission intermediaries more and more, so that dengue cases also increase,” said Anis, Tuesday (4/1/2022).
Anis said that during 2021 there were 117 cases of dengue fever in Pesilat Village. Of these cases, only 1 patient died.
In January 2021 there were 5 cases of DHF.
“Meanwhile, in January 2022, until the 4th, there were 8 cases,” he continued.
According to Anis, the number of cases could continue to increase considering the rainy season is not over yet.
From the interim report, cases of DHF in Kabupaten Madison scattered in several locations ranging from Dolopo, Mejayan, Kebonsari, Pilangkenceng and other areas.
