MADIUN, REMEMBER – Office of Public Health (Department of Health) Madiun Regencyreminding the public to be aware of possible vaccine-preventable diseases (PD3i).

Head of Disease Control and Prevention, Madiun District Health Office Selly Fitriana, said there are several diseases that need to be avoided and can be prevented by vaccination including: hepatitis B, poliomyelitis, shame, diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, the smallpox and meningitis caused by Hemophilus Influenza type B (HiB), as well as measles.

“There are no active cases, only a few are suspected, such as a child suffering from Paralytic Wilt that leads to AVP (as a result of the polio virus),” he said, Friday August 9, 2024.
