Madison Square Garden Entertainment Announces Opening of Multi-Sensory Space “Sphere at The Venetian Resort” in Las Vegas

Madison Square Garden Entertainment announces its new multi-sensory space, the same one that will open its doors this fall in Las Vegas.

Sphere at The Venetian Resort is being built in Paradise, Nevada, near the Las Vegas Strip, and just east of the Venetian complex.

The construction of the MSG Sphere would have cost close to two billion dollars.

The venue, with capacity for 10,000 people, will include an immersive production titled “Postcard From Earth” or Postcard from Earth.

According to sources, it will be directed by director Darren Aronofsky.

The auditorium was initially scheduled to open in 2021, but construction was suspended in April 2020 due to a disruption in the project’s supply chain, caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The works resumed that same year and the inauguration is scheduled for September 2023.

Tickets for the show are already on sale.
