After the success of the first season of the “A Sitting with Madeleine” program, the artist and media personality Madeleine Tabar signed a new extended seasonal contract for the program with the owner of the “Al-Hadath Al-Youm” channel, former MP Mohamed Ismail, the first episode of which began this week.
Actress Madeleine Tabar said that in the second season she decided to add new paragraphs to the content of the episodes in addition to the previous paragraphs that met with success, such as: “The Story of Struggle and Success” paragraph to highlight the distinguished groups in all professions, who struggled in their beginnings and succeeded.
As for the new paragraphs that were added with the new season, they are the paragraph “Egypt Tomorrow” in line with the atmosphere of the elections and in support of the pioneer of building the new republic, and the paragraph “Where are you sitting?” To stimulate tourism in Egypt, with restaurants, hotels and resorts, and the “Stars of Tomorrow” section to encourage the young generation of singers and artists in general, all of this, of course, with two basic sections for doctors and other successful people.
To celebrate the Prophet’s birthday, the artist Madeleine hosted, in her first episode on Wednesday, the singer Mahmoud Ghazi, Nader Najil and his band, and they sang Sufi songs, and on Thursday, she hosted the young talent Halim, who sang a group of his songs from his words and melodies.
During the “Halim” segment, “Madeleine” surprised him by calling his mother, the distinguished artist Sharifa Maher, who made some very special statements while talking about her previous works. “Sharifa” said that the artist Faten Hamama is the most cruel actress, while the artist Shukri Sarhan is the most compassionate of them all, and she directed, “ Sharifa” criticized the actresses of this generation and their defects in pronunciation, delivery, and expressions, and when she asked “Madeleine,” who is the first voice of Egypt? “Halim” chose the singer Sherine Abdel Wahab, and “Sharifa Maher” chose the singer Reham Abdel Hakim. “Madeleine” joked with them, saying: “No, that is why we offer our apologies to the singer Angham.”
