The man suspected of killing Madeleine McCann insists he was several kilometers from the hotel in Portuguese Praia da Luz when the three-year-old girl disappeared.
according to Sky News claims German Christian Brueckner that he had sex in a motorhome with a young woman on the evening of May 3, 2007.
During questioning, the man is said to have explained that he drove the woman to the airport in Faro the same evening, where they were stopped and photographed at a police roadblock.
At the airport, which is about 90 kilometers from Praia da Luz, he claims that the young woman was arrested by the security staff for carrying pepper spray.

Brückner was formally declared a suspect in the case on April 22.
Although he has been the police’s main suspect for more than four years, he has never been formally questioned in the case until two weeks ago.
He is now serving a sentence in another case. In 2019, he was found guilty of raping a 72-year-old American woman in her residence in Praia de Luz in 2005.
According to the channel, German police have found a picture of the woman who is claimed to be the man’s alibi in his motorhome during the investigation of this case.
When he first presented his alibi, he should not have remembered the woman’s full name. He must have since managed to identify her.
