The more popular crypto money makes the types of crypto assets more and more. Indonesia does not want to lose and will launch the ‘Made In Indonesia’ digital coin.
CEO of Indonesia Digital Cooperatives (IDM Co-op) M Chairul Basyar said his party will launch a crypto token on October 28, 2021. The coin will be developed with the MSME digitization project through cooperatives to development superapps.
Basyar explained that currently cryptocurrencies are increasingly becoming the prima donna. Inevitably the mainstay of crypto coins, namely Bitcoin, when it penetrates at a price of IDR 734 million per coin. Not only that, crypto exchange activities in DeFi (Decentralize Finance) and exchange more numerous and showing an increase.
“Currently, in looking for trading profits, cryptocurrencies can also be used as a solution for project financing for a company or institution and even a community. By launching utility tokens, investors buy tokens to finance token creator projects which can later create profits for investors through increasing the price of the tokens invested this,” Basyar said in a written statement, Saturday (9/10/2021).
He explained that one of the purposes of the launch of the crypto token was to finance projects that had been prepared to run. The projects currently being carried out are assisting the government in creating a digital cooperative ecosystem in Indonesia, educating the digital financial system evenly, and creating super applications.
“The super application is expected to be the pride of the Indonesian people, where in one hand everyone can connect via messenger, say hello through social media, be productive with the marketplace, and be easy with the fintech. So in one application, everything is available, and this is our cooperative. dedicate to Indonesia,” said Basyar.
Basyar said this crypto token can be used as a commodity not as a means of payment, and hopes that in the future the IDM cooperative will be able to help fellow cooperatives in Indonesia from the center to the villages.
“The IDM token that supply1 billion can be purchased via DeFi (decentrize financial) Binance network namely Pancake Swap. And the process can be through an exchange that has been legally registered with CoFTRA,” he said.
He hopes that all Indonesian people who want to buy the token will not forget to do in-depth research on the IDM Co-Op site.
“We together with the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs want to make something big related to digitization. Even in the middle of this month, IDM and the Vice Minister of Trade Jerry Sambuaga will jointly hold an AMA (Ask Me Anything) event which will answer all questions about the ICO,” he concluded.
