Thiruvananthapuram; Director Shanthivila Dinesh has been arrested by the cyber police on a complaint by dubbing artist Bhagyalakshmi. Bhagyalakshmi had complained to the Chief Minister and the DGP that a defamatory video of her had been uploaded on YouTube. Shantivila Dinesh was later released on bail.
Bhagyalakshmi’s statement was recorded and the police had called Shanthivila Dinesh and warned him. Bhagyalakshmi had alleged that Dinesh had made insulting remarks about her private life on social media. The video was then removed.
