Pass rushers
The pressure can come from anywhere so EA Sports has decided to release the ratings for the pass rushers in their entirety. On a Top 10, which has remained practically unchanged since last year, this group is in fact a combination of defensive tackles (2), defensive ends (5) and outside linebackers (3). Among them, almost all can play one or more of these positions depending on the defense in which they find themselves. Pass rushers have become one of the most valuable elements of any team, both in real life and in the virtual world, and there can be some sustainability in this area as well, since half of the Top 10 will be 30 years old or more this year.
Without much surprise, Aaron Donald still flies over all this little world with a fourth consecutive appearance in the “99 club”, symbolizing the players who get the perfect score in video games. An honor deserved for someone who has established himself as the most dominant defensive player since his arrival in the league. He is closely followed by a ghost, JJ Watt, who continues to flirt with the maximum score he had obtained in the 2014 to 2017 versions. The last step of the podium is composed of the duo Khalil Mack, who fell by two points to be “more” than a 97, it is true not helped by a less convincing 2019 season; and Von Miller, who keeps the same score as last year, after also having obtained the maximum score between the 2017 and 2019 editions. A quartet where nobody falls below the symbolic bar of the 90 general. Note however the absence of Joey Bosa (49ers).

Team rating
Little surprise, the defending champion is only seventh in this ranking. Kansas City is penalized by a fairly low rated defense. The finalists of the last Super Bowl remain in this same second place, while it is necessary to descend in the middle of the classification to find traces of the two conference finalists (14th for Green Bay, 19th for Tennessee). At the back of the peloton, we find the Dolphins whose recruitment did not convince the specialists to place them higher.
