Madball gather more than 2000 people in a concert in New York

Madball gathered more than 2,000 people on Saturday afternoon for a controversial concert in New York’s Tompkins Square Park. Bloodclot (with members of Cro-Mags and Biohazard), The Capturers and Wisdom In Chains also participated in the event to raise funds for a foundation for a city firefighting burn center.

The concert received a lot of criticism due to the lack of safety distance and because many attendees did not wear a mask, as can be seen in the videos. Some attacks that John Joseph of Blooclot and Cro-Mags responded through his Instagram account.

“History was made yesterday at Tompkins Square Park History. More than 2000 people came to a free concert by the people for the people. It was amazing, we raised money for the FDNY burn unit and fed people organic food. And let me say this to all the fools who spit shit. During the last year in New York there have been protests – tens and thousands of people in the streets – some riots and looting in some tendentious attacks, and nobody said anything, the media tolerated it. In April 2020 thousands of people filled Washington Square Park sharing joints and weed pipes without a mask, and no one said anything. This was our fucking protest, it was our demonstration. People came from all over the country and enjoyed live music. Those who did not want to come did not come, and no one missed them. They were free to live in fear, hide under the table, and spread fear on social media. (…) We needed this, and I hope that other cities in the United States and around the world will do the same. No matter what they say, we have that PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) ”.

Positive or irresponsible attitude?

You can judge yourself through a couple of videos of Stone Films NYC. It should be remembered that today, in New York City, 51% of the population has already received the first dose of the vaccine, and 34%, both.
