Press release
Antananarivo, January 24, 2024. The ArBiochem Group proudly celebrated, at its headquarters in Ambohimangakely, the ISO 9001:2015 certification of two of its flagship companies: the VetCare Madagascar Veterinary Clinic and the ACTIVO Farm and Hatchery.
VetCare, founded in 2012, is a Veterinary Clinic located in Ambatomitsangana with an annex in Ivato, specializing in the care and well-being of pets. It stood out as the first veterinary clinic in Africa to be ISO 9001:2015 certified. It strives to offer quality care with a technical platform that meets international standards.
ASSET, established in 2017, produces broiler and layer chicks from its parent farm and hatchery, both located in Arivonimamo, in the Itasy region. Its ambition is to provide the best quality of chicks in terms of growth and mortality to breeders in Madagascar. ACTIVO obtained its certification from the first audit and in the absence of major or minor non-compliance. It is the only hatchery and parent farm in Africa to have achieved this feat to date.
These certifications illustrate the ArBiochem Group’s commitment to excellence and quality, highlighting a continuous approach to improvement and alignment with international standards.
“In Madagascar, meeting international standards with local resources and infrastructure and being the first in Africa to record no non-compliance during an initial audit is a matter of the heart. It proves that Madagascar , its businesses and its inhabitants, are capable of seeking and achieving excellence,” said Isabelle ANDRIAMANALINA, Deputy CEO and co-founder of the ArBiochem group.
This celebration saw the presence of many distinguished guests, reflecting the importance of this event for the Group and for the livestock and agriculture sector in Madagascar.
For his part, Rivo Andriamanalina, CEO of the ArBiochem group, thanked all of his employees, customers and partners for the path traveled and for making the group’s motto come true: “Growing together, Grandir ensemble, Growing together”.
