Madagascar: nine people involved in political affairs benefit from an amnesty – LINFO.re

Supreme Court approves amnesty requests

After careful examination of the files of amnesty seekers by the CFM, the Supreme Court then gave its approval to grant amnesty to the nine people. The Supreme Court is the legal body with the right to grant forgetting to offenses and to cancel their consequences.

According to the CFM, 31 amnesty requests lui have been sent this year. The Council also received 24 requests for compensation for loss of jobs resulting from the successive political crises that occurred between 2002 and 2009. Only about 20 cases of compensation were approved.
