In Madagascar, heavy rains have caused floods and landslides, at least 10 people have died. This is reported Flood List.
The national disaster agency BNGRC reported major damage in the capital and surrounding areas.
More than 75mm of rain was recorded in Antananarivo in one day. The level of the Sisaoni River rose by 68 centimeters in half an hour.
Houses and bridges collapsed, infrastructure was damaged and agricultural land was flooded. Ten people were killed, two more were injured, about 500 people were evacuated.
The Ministry of Water Resources of Madagascar has declared a red alert level in the country.
