But at the beginning of the year 2024, the Rajoelina administration did not just watch in the palace, it has already developed a long-term vision, which emerged in Dubai, in Madagascar’s participation in the International Conference on Government (« World Governments Summit »). It is a matter of the future of Malagasy children and youth, and it is part of the Education and Training of the Malagasy generation. This is a huge step taken by President Rajoelina and the delegation he led in Dubai regarding this issue of the Digital world. The planning of the Government of the Future requires the mobilization and commitment of all so that there are appropriate and concrete actions for it, to ensure that the decisions taken at the Assembly it will turn into a successful and promoting project for the benefit of the people.
In recent years, there has been the presence of the Government’s use of new technology, at all levels of administration and in public life. Through digital management, the government strengthens the efficiency of the state and the effectiveness of services for the public interest. Through the operation of public services, the Government ensures the emergence of digitalization, which is an opportunity to accelerate social and economic development.
Artificial intelligence (« Intelligence Artificielle » or IA) is increasing every day, and it has never happened before in the life of mankind. Its impact on society and the global economy makes it a major challenge that all Governments must face. Therefore, the Malagasy country must establish an effective way to control the ethical use of artificial intelligence to affect the interests of all, especially international peace and security.
The introduction of the technological revolution in the reform of government through the creation of a new economic model based on digitalization, is an important step to ensure the establishment of new economic and social opportunities for the development. However, this change will not be effective if it is not included in the different processes of all levels of society. The government cannot develop policies to promote investment and business creation unless it is completely determined, without excluding anyone, sustainable, responsible for the environment and the introduction of new technology is the basis of this policy.
We also need to recognize that economic growth and new technologies seem to be water and rice in the politics of developing cities. In recent years, it has been seen and felt that rapid demographic growth (population growth) has accelerated the development of urban policies in some countries. The emergence of new technologies has an impact on the Government’s decision to develop a modern country with infrastructure in line with its economic development. For some states, sustainable, healthy and non-discriminatory landscape design is the guarantee of society on the path of economic and social growth.
It’s up to all of you, today’s youth, to consider the Future you want your children to live. But for me personally, when you don’t move forward, you go backwards. It is now up to you young people -far from the politics of selfishness and pocket-filling- to examine whether the infrastructures that have been started by the Rajoelina administration are necessary or not. Just know first that this city of Dubai is a desert («Dessert»), 30 years ago.
The reason? Nominees or elected officials are not given a new 4X4, but the cars of their successors are used. The amount of money to buy it will allow us to develop many areas… And it should be a car «Karenjy» should be paid for high-ranking civil servants in Madagascar.
