And now he’s out of breath.
In 2022, the guy was all happy. He savored his triumph over Marine Le Pen. And he thought he was allowed anything.
He was going to rule as he saw fit. He took on a Prime Minister named Jean Castex, a brave man after all. Then, having worn him out, he threw him off like an old sock.
Then, unfortunately, came disastrous legislative elections. His people only obtained a relative majority. To govern, the guy had to compromise. A difficult and perilous exercise.
And during the vote on the immigration law, part of his troops rebelled and refused to approve it. The guy, at the end of the race, no longer scared anyone and there was no reason to obey him.
In the meantime, Elisabeth Borne had taken Jean Castex’s place. He tells himself that she, in turn, will fall by the wayside.
Another Prime Minister? To do what ? It is the guy, and him alone, that the French are calling to account!
