The French president had telephone conversations with Rumen Radev and Dimitar Kovachevski
French President Emmanuel Macron has expressed readiness to gather in Paris “at the right time” representatives of the authorities in Sofia and Skopje to conclude a bilateral agreement. It would allow negotiations to begin on the accession of the Republic of Northern Macedonia to the European Union.
The Elysee Palace reports that Macron had telephone conversations last night with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and the Prime Minister of Northern Macedonia, Dimitar Kovachevski. The French President has expressed his full support for an agreement between the two countries, which would contribute to good neighborly relations and specify the European perspective of the PCM. The French presidency emphasizes that Paris has been supporting efforts for several weeks to find a solution to the dispute between the two countries.
