DECRYPTION – Le Figaro delved into the new Ina database, which used artificial intelligence to decipher 700,000 hours of French media archives.

The National Audiovisual Institute (Ina) unveiled at the beginning of October data.ina.frits new website available to the general public. If Ina specifies that its algorithm is still imperfect, and that the data must be handled with caution, more than 700,000 hours of archives running from January 1, 2019 to June 30, 2024 were analyzed by artificial intelligence to highlight four themes: the personalities mentioned, the speaking time between women and men, the words spoken and the countries mentioned.
