Macron didn’t settle for the French Prime Minister’s resignation

Attal already introduced his resignation on Sunday night, reacting to the estimated victory of the left within the elections, which was later confirmed.

“Trustworthy to the republican custom and in accordance with my rules, I’ll submit my resignation to the president of the republic tomorrow morning,” Attal introduced on Sunday.

However French President Macron didn’t settle for it and requested Attal to stay in workplace in the interim, he wrote record The World in his on-line broadcast of the elections.

The left-wing New Folks’s Entrance gained 182 seats in early parliamentary elections, the coalition related to Macron’s Renewal gained 168 seats, and the right-wing Nationwide Affiliation of Marine Le Pen gained 143 seats.
