French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday criticized the “fear scenarios” of power outages and the concern of a large swath of French people about the country’s energy future.
Macron stressed, in a statement on the sidelines of the European summit held in Tirana, Albania, that France would “resist and survive” if everyone did “their job”.
He added: “We are a great country and we have a great energy model that will remain resilient this winter despite the problems, and I ask everyone to do their job,” imploring: “Enough of everything!”
