The ex-president Mauricio Macri reappeared publicly, and without a mask, in the Buenos Aires party of Pinamar, on a tour where he was able to enjoy the beaches of the coastal municipality and even had time to play paddle tennis with the local mayor, Martin Yeza.
The former president arrived in Pinamar on Friday night accompanied by the former head of the Public Media System, Hernán Lombardi, and both met this Saturday morning with Yeza.
“We traveled with Mauricio Macri and Martín Yeza along the new Pinamar waterfront. I hope you have a great season after this difficult year. Tourism is work!”, Lombardi published on his Twitter account.
When seeing the images of the leaders without the corresponding protocols, Twitter users criticized the lack of masks while they made the tour. “I love it. But what about the chinstraps?”, “I admire them. But why don’t they wear masks?” were some of the questions.
For his part, the mayor of Pinamar explained that during the tour he showed the former president the “recovery of 100 thousand square meters of public beach” and the “accessibility works in the new spas”.
In addition to the photos where you can see them on a tour of the beaches on a full sun day, Macri had time to enjoy a paddle game with his teammates from Together for Change. It was Yeza himself who uploaded the video to his networks.
After the tour, Macri had a talk with Yeza, Lombardi and a group of officials and councilors from Pinamar in one of the paradores of the coastal city.
In recent months, the former president began to reappear publicly through interviews with the media where he feels comfortable and with expressions through Twitter, where he takes the opportunity to install the discourse of the hard wing of the opposition space.
In the last week, Macri pointed against the reduction of funds for the City of Buenos Aires, after he was the one who, by decree, granted that benefit to the district governed by Horacio Rodríguez Larreta.
