After participating in the fourth date of the World League in Cancun, Mexico, the students of the Dojo Ken Sho Kan Machalí, led by sensei Juan Carlos Pardo, have obtained great results.
This is the case of Cristóbal Hermosilla, who won a silver medal in the Junior – 55 kilos category. Likewise, Lucian Carrera also won bronze in the Cadet -57 kilos category. Vicente Carreño achieved the same result in the Cadet -70 kilos category. And Jorge Concha, in the same division, achieved fifth place.
These results, which place them among the best in the world, indicate that Vicente, a student at Colegio Coya, is 13th in the world ranking, Cristóbal, a student at Colegio San Ignacio, is 30th in the world, as is Jorge, who studies at Colegio Saint Jhon.
“I am very proud of my students because they competed against the best and are already preparing for the next challenges at national and international level,” said Juan Carlos Pardo.
The sensei also said that we must “thank their parents and our technical team, made up of sensei Leslie Astete and sensei Nicolas Loyola. We are focused on continuing to represent the region and the country in the best possible way and thus fulfill the noble ideals of each one.”
It should be noted that this group of athletes is looking to Italy, as the World Championships will be held in Venice in October.
