The Macedonian opposition must support changes to the basic law and will choose the date of the next election. Macedonian Foreign Minister Buyar Osmani announced this, Nova Macedonia reported.
The changes are very important for North Macedonia.
Accepting them will allow the country to negotiate with the EU.
The opposition refuses to give support. Without her votes, there is no way to implement the changes.
“The opposition must support the changes. Then they can choose a date for the elections, even if it is today or next week,” Osmani announced.
He insists it’s a fair offer. However, opposition groups reject the idea.
They expect the government to step down.
