Several Macs will join the list of old products end of April. These are all laptops, these are the 11-inch MacBook Air (mid-2013 and early 2014), the 13-inch MacBook Air (mid 2013 and early 2014), as well as the 13-inch MacBook Pro (mid 2014). There is nothing infamous about being on this list, it does not mean that the computer is good to throw away. These MacBooks are also compatible with macOS Catalina.
The products on this list have an end of manufacture that dates back to between five and seven years. They can still benefit from a hardware repair in authorized service centers and in Apple Stores, subject to the availability of stocks.
