Mac Lesggy: his rage against a former minister

Rare are the times when Mac Lesggy comes out of his role as host. Rather discreet, the presenter of the popular science show “E = M6”, took up the niche on Twitter facing a former Minister of the Environment (from 1995 to 1997). This Friday, June 26, Corinne Lepage was enthusiastic about the closure of the Fessenheim nuclear power plant, in the Grand Est region, scheduled for Tuesday, June 30. However, the joy of the former minister was not unanimously shared. Several Internet users were indignant as one of them who wrote: “How sad for a former Minister of the Environment to be delighted with this climatic scuttling. Unless, of course, you assume that you put the antinuclear dogma before the climate. But in this case, do not falsely claim to be green ”.

Mac Lesggy shares his annoyance

Corinne Lepage then replied: “I think you work for nuclear energy directly or indirectly and I will be very happy to know what in your life you have done to defend the environment”. Obviously at odds with the former minister, Mac Lesggy decided to get involved in the debate by pushing a rant. “I am an agricultural engineer and host of E = M6. I defend nuclear, our only current controllable source, with hydroelectricity, low carbon electricity. The climate emergency is now, not tomorrow, ”he warned of global warming.
