Apple and Epic Systems (unrelated to Fortnite) have just reached an agreement regarding the port of an application for the medical records of the publisher on the Mac. Apple continues to work in the healthcare sector. According to AxiosEpic Systems devrait create a version of its medical records tool. In the corridors there are rumors that the Californian company would have pressed for a native version of the service for Apple devices, but the two companies would have preferred to opt for an adapted version easier to run on Apple devices. The agreement comes despite previous disagreements. Epic has said that rule changes focused on “interoperability” will be. very burdensome for our healthcare system and would endanger patient privacy. Epic Systems is the largest provider of electronic health records in the United Stateswith about half of the population’s medical records stored in a system powered by Epic software and technology.
