Maan is working on new music and will skip the upcoming festival summer. The singer says that she is focusing on new music. “That’s why I skip festival shows in the summer.”
After the song Secretlywhich the 27-year-old Maan released in 2022 with Goldband, it was quiet around the singer for a while.
“Did you miss me?” the singer writes on Instagram, where she deleted all her photos this week. “Recently I took the liberty to search and find what I want to make, rediscover myself and explore where eight years of music has taken me.”
In that time she found what she was looking for, Maan continues. “A new era, new music. To work on this next year, I won’t be playing any festival shows this summer. See you again afterwards. Stay tuned. #albumloading.”
‘I’m doing better than ever’
The singer, whose full name is Maan de Steenwinkel, also says that she is doing well. “Things are better than ever. Don’t let anything or anyone tell you otherwise.”
Maan recently won a Qmusic Top 40 Award for Secretly. The song was declared the Biggest Hit. Maan broke through in the Netherlands in 2016 with the sixth season of The voice of Holland to win. The singer has big hits like She cries but she laughs, To the moon in Nothing is sacred in her name.
