Donations, honorary offices and social marketing
Donations, honorary offices and social marketing
Before we say goodbye for a short Christmas break, we use the pre-Christmas mood for a one-topic program. This time everything revolves around a good cause, donations, volunteering and social marketing.
We start with the question of what actually constitutes social marketing and how it differs from other types of marketing (1:28). In the interview we ask our “makketier” Sabine Kraft, who is a special representative of the Federal Association of Children’s Hospice, where the challenges for her are to win donations (25:06). In the “stupid answer to the wise question” we deal with one of the greatest doubts about the good cause, namely: How much of my money actually goes to those in need? And how much is seeping into administration? (71:13) And last but not least, we recommend the book “Freiwillig zu Dienst? About the exploitation of voluntary work and free work” by Claudia Pinl, which deals very critically with honorary positions. (81:18)
This time we are not supported, but we support the Federal Association of Children’s Hospice with our episode. If you want to help this with a donation, you can find everything about donation opportunities here.

The makketing Marketing Show is a podcast production.
