Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Authority, revealed that the coming period will witness the implementation of the system in the governorates of Ismailia, Luxor, South Sinai and Aswan.
This came during a press conference held by Maait on Thursday to mark the one-year anniversary of the launch of the comprehensive health insurance system, in Port Said Governorate.
Maait stressed that the comprehensive health insurance system has contributed to facing the crisis of the spread of the Coronavirus, pointing to the inclusion of new diseases covered by the system, and not setting a financial ceiling to bear surgical operations and treatment.
