Beijing Youth Daily (Reporter Tian Wanting) Due to the epidemic, the six Ma Jia “infinite colors” solo concerts originally scheduled to be held in 2020 have been reduced to three. It is a pity. But for singer Ma Jia, 2020 is still full of rewards: In this year, he not only held a solo concert for the first time, he also talked about cross talk and dance in his concert for the first time, but also appeared in himself. The first musical, and successfully completed the tour…
Recently, Ma Jia, who has just performed the musical “Rebirth” in Beijing and held his 30th birthday concert in Changsha, accepted an exclusive interview with a reporter from Beijing Youth Daily. He said that he doesn’t just want to do what the singer is doing. “In order to bring a better audio-visual experience to the fans, I will do my best regardless of the cost. All this is worth it.” With a ten-year-old mentality change, Ma Jia said: “I feel like I am full of energy and hope to present more and better literary works.”
Seriously meet every challenge
With strong singing skills and humorous and straightforward character, Ma Jia quickly became fans in the vocal program “Sound into the Heart”. He frankly said that there are many opportunities after becoming famous, but when faced with choices, he is very careful: “I can’t live up to the love my friends have for me.”
Li Dun had an agreement with Ma Jia in the program “Sound into the Heart” and invited him to appear in his own musical. The first anti-drug theme musical “Rebirth”, which was adapted from real events, fulfilled this promise. Ma Jia, who made her debut on the musical stage, successfully performed Luo Jinyong, an anti-narcotics policeman who was awe-inspiring and a little clumsy in front of her favorite girl but cute enough. Following the national tour, “Rebirth” was staged at Beijing Tianqiao Art Center on January 6, 2021, and Ma Jia’s performance won unanimous praise.
In order to play this role well, Ma Jia began to prepare more than two months in advance. “The role of Luo Jinyong seems to be close and far away, and the police can be said to be a relatively familiar profession in our lives, but when they perform their tasks, life and death are at stake. At that time, it was too far away from our lives. So I felt the tension indirectly by visiting Luo Jinyong, looking up various materials, and even looking for anti-drug related videos.”
