After studying business administration, Torsten Stapel began his career with large international advertising agencies and for several years shaped Sony’s B2C marketing activities in various functions, both nationally and internationally, says Lyreco. In 2006, Torsten Stapel added to his B2C knowledge in the B2B area: He switched from Sony to Sennheiser in Hanover, where he was able to develop and expand digital communication and sales channels in particular as Marketing Director and the basic structure of an integrated marketing & public relation initiated and promoted. Due to the strategic realignment of the B2B product area at Sennheiser, he already had major points of contact with the retail sector during this time. As Head of Marketing and Authorized Signatory, Torsten Stapel then moved to Deutsche Messe AG in Hanover, where he was responsible for product management as well as international brand management. He also played a key role in shaping the company’s digital development.
