The quality of life of dogs does not improve in the capital of the Gauls.
It is in any case not Lyon which is leading this year in the ranking of cities where it is good to live with your dog. According to the annual study published by the magazine 30 million friends Unveiled in the May issue, Nice won with a very good overall average of 17.1 out of 20. Next came Montpellier (16.8 out of 20) and Toulouse (16.5 out of 20).
While Lyon had already lost three places in 2019 by settling in 13th place in the ranking, the year 2020 is a sign of a tumble. The capital of Gaul is now 34th with an average of only 9.7 out of 20. The score is catastrophic and final with regard to transport: 5 out of 20. It is 10 out of 20 for green spaces and 13.5 out of 20 for caniparks. Cleanliness and commitment score 6 and 6.7 out of 20, respectively.
Note the 31st place in Villeurbanne which plunges 15 places on the board with a final average of 10.9 out of 20.
The magazine believes, however, that “elected officials are finally getting started“in terms of welcoming dogs in public spaces.
