Until February 19, fifteen renowned chefs will take turns in the ” Solidarity chefs kiosk » on the Place des Jacobins in Lyon (Rhône) to distribute menus for the benefit of the Notre-Dame des Sans-abri home.

Smiling behind his mask, the chef is delighted to reconnect with the solidarity initiatives to which he is used. Its new operation launched with its association “Envie d’un rire” has met with real success:

Restaurant owners, who will cook between 100 and 150 menus per day, see their order book jam-packed.
–It will be necessary in particular to give elbows to enjoy the meal of the chef Valerie Cristina (the only woman in the operation) on February 16. He only has about 30 meals left to distribute.
And the menu she has concocted for the occasion is salivating: beet millefeuille as a starter, followed by a Paul Bocuse-style chicken in vinegar and a white chocolate tangerine for dessert.
A solidarity initiative
“Delighted”, the chef of the restaurant 2 la Gare in Saint-Romain-Le-Popey (Rhône) is as much as the godmother of the edition: Jacotte Brazier.
Very involved with disadvantaged people, the granddaughter of mother Brazier is glad that all the profits go for the benefit of the Notre-Dame des Sans-abri association which welcomes “up to 1,500 people every evening”.
–Among the guests of the launch, the president of the metropolis of Lyon Bruno Bernard is delighted that the restaurateurs can work again. “It’s even more positive when it’s for a good cause,” he enthuses.
Until February 19, 2021, customers who pre-ordered on time on the site will be able to withdraw their order between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. every day.
And with a little luck, “there may be extensions”, hopes chef Fabrice Bonnot.
For gourmets, the menus are at a fixed price: € 28.50 starter, main course, dessert. Reservation 48 hours in advance.
